WELCOME TO WILGA STATION

Wilga Station offers a new experience in luxury. Just 12 minutes from the historic city of Bathurst and 40 minutes from the wine country of Orange, Wilga Station is a 260 acre working sheep farm that’s been home to the Keith family for three generations.

We have now opened this idyllic country lifestyle to guests and we invite you to explore our winding, walking tracks and

willow-lined creek, before settling in to toast marshmallows and watch the sunset at one of our two beautiful accommodation options.

We’ve reused and repurposed as much material as possible from the farm to create two unique country getaways that are distinctively Australian with an easy going sense of luxury.

FARM | THE FARMERS HUT

SLEEPS 2 (ADULTS ONLY)

Our secluded little Farmers Hut is perched on top of a hill with incredible views across the whole valley. Sunset takes it to a whole new level! It’s completely self-contained and suitable for singles or couples looking for a quiet getaway OR as your next remote working destination - complete with complimentary wifi.

Discreetly tucked away under its unique grass roof, the Hut is 100% off grid. It’s designed to maintain a comfortable temperature of between 16-24 degrees all year round. It features a wood fireplace, king size bed, kitchenette, designer bathroom and a sheltered BBQ area.

Your stay will include a complimentary premium bottle of wine from local vineyards and a gourmet breakfast hamper, allowing you to experience the best of local and Wilga Station produce.

Weekend (Friday & Saturday): $475 per night
Weekday (Sunday - Thursday): $425 per night

FARM | THE SHEARERS HALL

SLEEPS 10 (CHILDREN WELCOME)

The Shearers Hall was the hub of Wilga Station during shearing season. It’s now been transformed into a luxurious, five bedroom country retreat, complete with high speed complimentary Wi-Fi. We’ve kept the sheep shutes (under glass) and the old wool table now holds pride of place in the entertaining area.

This is the place to come with family and friends. It’s convivial, relaxed and located at the very heart of the farm with wide ranging views over the Fitzgeralds Valley. Don’t be surprised if sheep graze right past your window.

$1100 per night

2 night minimum booking

The Shearers Hall can be booked at a discounted rate if you will not be using all 5 bedrooms.

3 Bedroom rate: $950 per night

2 Bedroom rate: $750 per night
1 Bedroom rate: $550 per night

*Regardless of the number of bedrooms booked, the entire Shearers Hall is exclusively yours.

WANDER & ENJOY | THE SHEEP TRAIL

One of the joys of Wilga Station that our visitors absoutely rave about is the The Sheep Trail, a meandering bush walk that weaves its way down to Wilga Creek from The Shearers Hall and Farmers Hut. There’s a firepit down by the creek which is available under certain conditions.

If you’d like to enjoy this experience during your stay, please bring all-terrain shoes or hiking boots.
